Bob Russell was born in Ramsgate Kent England, and came across the Atlantic Ocean to New York on the Queen Mary. He spent his childhood going back and forth from the States to England, which gave him the opportunity to jam with musicians on both sides of the pond. He has had the honor of playing and hanging out with some of the most incredible musicians and songwriters of the 60’s and 70’s.
“Running Crazy” combines British and American artist influences with a taste of classic rock and a touch of blues. The new album features the single “Tic Toc.” Bob Russell has played with the likes of Bob Seger System, Guess Who, Alice Cooper Group, New York Dolls, Ike and Tina Turner, ZZ Top, Joe Walsh Barnstorm, Frampton’s Camel, Foghat, Wishbone Ash, Leslie West, and many others.
