Harry and Meghan Gush About First Wedding Dance In Volume II Trailer

Volume I of the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, is already causing a stir and there’s still more to go. Volume II is dropping on December 15, and the streaming site is making sure people tune in with more fun teasers.

In a clip dropped on Saturday, December 10, the couple share private details of their wedding day. The pair were married on May 19, 2018. At the start, the Duchess of Sussex says, “I just really wanted the music to be fun. Even our first dance.”

The 41-year-old former actor apparently has trouble remembering the name of the song they first danced to, saying she always gets it “wrong.”

The tune turns out to belong to Wilson Picket, who sings “Land of 1000 Dances,” which plays in the trailer over photos of their reception dance. In the pics, Meghan is wearing her iconic Stella McCartney gown and smiling joyfully.

“It was so fun,” she remembered. “Just spinning like a whirlwind. It was so great.”

The wedding itself at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel had 600 guests and millions watching the event live streamed. The dance took place at the more intimate reception, with only 200 people in attendance. Actor Idris Elba was DJing, so the music was undoubtedly all Meghan had hoped.

“It was a huge dance party, everyone was letting loose and had a blast,” a source at the event said at the time. “Just a fun night and not stuffy at all.”

They added, “The speeches were both touching and funny. Harry and Meghan’s personalities really shined.”

Within a few years, the Duke and Duchess would be leaving their roles as working members of the royal family and moving to the U.S. to raise their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The controversial decision is just one of the many topics covered in the docuseries, which shares an intimate look into their lives.

“With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other,” Netflix said of the series.
