Of course, we’re all aware of how easy and versatile a throw-on jumper dress can be. They’re comfortable and you can pair them with knee high boots and heels for a really polished look or trainers on more relaxed days. This also makes them the perfect transitional item, and something that can be layered with coats now, then shorter jackets (or no jacket) come later spring. And while most of us dress-lovers will probably already own a neutral knitted dress, it’s the addition of stripes for SS23 that feels particularly fresh to me.
Stripes are, in my mind, a spring staple and there’s nothing more useful in a capsule wardrobe than a breton top. So it makes sense that this chic pattern should be applied to another one of our wardrobe basics to elevate it in the same way.
