Rob Zombie Has Harsh Words For His Debut Feature

Horror News

It’s pretty common knowledge that most directors are going to be harder on their own material than anyone else ever could. Even after a film is done you just know that the director is watching the final version on the big screen, wishing that they could have changed little things about the film.

But you never hear anything like we’ve heard from Rob Zombie recently. Earlier this year we heard rumblings of Rob wanting to turn his debut feature film, House of 1,000 Corpses, into a broadway musical. Yet recently his tune seems to have changed about the film as a whole.

He even went as far as saying;

“The first film [I directed], which people seem to love, is just a calamitous mess. Well, when it came out it seemed like everyone hated it. Now everyone acts like it’s beloved in some way. All I see is a flaw, upon flaw, upon flaw… upon flaw.”
