Horror News

It would seem not a day goes by without having to announce the adaptation or remake of an adaptation to some of Stephen King’s work, which by and large makes him one of the true masters of the genre.

Today it was announced that Epix is going to be adapting King’s prequel story “Jerusalem’s Lot” which was published in 1978, featuring the fiction town that King introduced prior in his novel Salem’s Lot.

The series has been given a 10 episode straight to series order for “Jerusalem’s Lot’, Adrian Brody is set to star.

The synopsis is as follows:

“The series is set in the 1850s. It follows Captain Charles Boone (Brody), who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. However, Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations.”

Epix is looking for a Fall 2020 premiere.
