TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE Reboot From Fede Alvarez Gets A Writer!

Remakes are everywhere. Even the most sacred of horror cinema is not safe from it – for a second time. 

Deadline announced that Fede Alvarez and his writing partner Rodo Sayagues have inked a deal with Legendary Pictures where they will be creating, developing and producing films for Legendary through their Bad Hombre Films banner and that includes the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. 

The site also reports that Chris Thomas Devlin will be writing the film which apparently is going to be a reboot of the original classic Tobe Hooper film.
