R-Truth Responds to The Miz’s Shocking Betrayal on WWE RAW

On the latest edition of WWE RAW, fans witnessed the impressive tag team Awesome Truth, consisting of The Miz and R-Truth. Since June, Awesome Truth has faced setback after setback, starting with their loss of the World Tag Team Titles.

Bronson Reed then took out R-Truth, leaving him absent from WWE programming. The Miz has tried to get revenge on him but has faced numerous setbacks in his attempts. Last week on WWE RAW, The Miz was set to face Bronson Reed again. Unfortunately, the match never began because Braun Strowman, who also has issues with Reed, interrupted.

In the latest edition of RAW, The Miz confronted Braun Strowman backstage. Just as he was about to address Strowman’s actions from last week, R-Truth made a surprising return and interrupted him. R-Truth revealed that he and The Miz would team up to face AOP later on the show. Although The Miz appeared unhappy with the match, he agreed to the matchup.

The match took an unexpected turn when The Miz betrayed R-Truth. He delivered a sudden kick to R-Truth’s face and left him in the ring. This led AOP to capitalize on the situation and quickly claim victory. Following the shocking betrayal by The Miz, R-Truth responded to his actions.

R-Truth opens up about The Miz’s attack on WWE RAW

Earlier this year, WWE created a storyline featuring R-Truth and The Judgment Day before he reformed his tag team partnership with The Miz. R-Truth consistently tried to join The Judgment Day, even though the faction denied him entry. Known for his comedic timing, R-Truth seemed to believe that The Miz thinks he is still part of The Judgment Day, which led to the betrayal on RAW.

In a recent interview, R-Truth addressed The Miz’s betrayal and mentioned that he feels the latter got confused about his allegiance, believing he was still part of The Judgment Day. He stated, “Miz got confused. He thinks I’m still in Judgment Day,” he stated. When Cathy Kelley pointed out that the attack seemed “intentional,” he replied, “Wait a minute. Are you saying that was done on purpose? Cathy Kelley, don’t you put no blasphemy on Miz. Miz did not do that intentionally.”

R-Truth then affirmed, “He was merely confused over which team I was on because I used to be in the Judgment Day a while back. But I left them, and I’m in Awesome Truth. I don’t think he did that on purpose. Did it look like it? I hope he didn’t. I need to find out. I’ll text him… As a matter of fact, I need to go find him. I don’t think he would do nothing like that, not to me. Better not have done it on purpose.”

While R-Truth stays in his comedic character, fans speculate about The A Lister’s actions. Karrion Kross has played mind games with The Miz and Xavier Woods for weeks. Kross’ strategy seems to have finally paid off with The Miz’s betrayal. Now, it remains to be seen if this also leads to Woods betraying his tag team partner, Kofi Kingston from The New Day.
