Alix Earle’s dad, Thomas “TJ” Earle, is making a joke about Tom Brady after the influencer was spotted cozying up to the former NFL star.
A TikTok video shared by TJ’s wife, Ashley Earle, showed her getting ready while wearing a blue velvet blazer — which was previously TJ’s clothing.
“I actually got that jacket because I saw Tom Brady wearing one like that,” TJ said in the Saturday, January 3, clip, to which Ashley replied, “Are you joking?” TJ added, “I swear to God.”
“Are you serious? … You know what, honey, you just say the darndest things. How ironic is that,” Ashley quipped as she continued getting ready, before warning that she wasn’t “cutting” out the joke from her public TikTok.

“The Tom Brady joke LOL,” one user wrote in the comments section of the video, to which Ashley replied, “This guy lol.”
Alix was spotted with Brady at a nightclub in St. Barts for New Year’s Eve, with a video obtained by TMZ showing the influencer whispering in the athlete’s ear.
“Alix and Tom were together the entire night on New Year’s Eve partying at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Barths,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “They met through mutual friends who were also in St. Barths and had an instant connection. There was a lot of chemistry between them.”
The insider shared that Alix was “really into hanging out” with Brady, 48, but isn’t interested in being in a relationship at the moment.

“It’s nothing serious between her and Tom,” the source shared. “They were together laughing, dancing and partying, enjoying themselves.”
Less than one month before the video made headlines, multiple sources confirmed to Us that Alix and Braxton Berrios had parted ways after two years of dating.
“Majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate,” one insider told Us in December 2025. “They mutually agreed on the split.”
Alix broke her silence on the split in an emotional video later that month.
“Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often,” Alix said at the time. “It’s just been really difficult for me. I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place.”
She continued, “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs. I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He wasn’t really expecting that of me … I constantly felt guilty.”
While Alix relocated to California for Dancing With the Stars earlier that year, Berrios was based in Florida when he’s not playing for the Houston Texans. (Alix and partner Val Chmerkovskiy ultimately finished in second place.)
“It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it sucks,” Alix said. “We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or be mean to him. I think I ultimately just wanted to go with trusting my feelings. This has just been really hard. … It’s not because he did anything wrong or I did anything wrong. It just didn’t really feel like it was working out in the moment.”
