Jimmy Kimmel was not a fan of Donald Trump‘s record-long State of the Union address!
During Tuesday night’s episode, the comedian put the Prez on BLAST for his “angry” speech, summing it up:
“The theme of tonight’s speech was ‘All foreigners are murderers.’”
Except, of course, for one important exception. Referencing Melania Trump, he joked:
“He said zero illegal aliens have been allowed into the United States on his watch, but the door is always open to those who come in legally to be his next wife. … The State of their Union is twin beds tonight.”
Hah!

Jimmy also said the whole thing felt like a “Christmas message from the Grinch,” while pointing out he bragged about ending D.E.I. and even kicking 2 million people off food stamps. You have to be so cruel to be bragging about that!
The late-night star also took some jabs at The Celebrity Apprentice alum’s appearance, saying his hair looked like “a cloud on top of a sweet potato” and that his “flop sweat and makeup combined to form a frothy, homemade Orange Julius on his face.” Ouch!
Elsewhere in the monologue, the 58-year-old detailed exactly what Trump’s presidency has been like, saying:
“Here’s the real State of the Union. We have a nut job wannabe king who’s doing everything he can to censor opinions he doesn’t want to hear. He has his goons arresting, incarcerating, and killing American citizens. He’s cut funding for cancer research at children’s hospitals while he rakes in literally billions of dollars for himself and his family. He’s coming after our right to vote. He’s protecting pedophiles and won’t explain it. He’s lining the pockets of billionaires, all while neglecting the sick, the poor, and the hungry in the name of Jesus by the way.”
Kimmel knows what he’s talking about as one of the late-night star’s Trump has tried to silence! It’s no wonder he’s not holding back with his reaction!
