Lauren Conrad Gets Caught Up In Awkward Spencer Pratt Convo With Kristin Cavallari – WATCH!

Oh, the nostalgia is real — but so is the tension, apparently!

Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari may have buried their hatchet, but don’t expect every blast from their past to feel like a warm reunion. Because when Spencer Pratt entered the chat, things got awkward fast!

The former Laguna Beach and The Hills stars stopped by the Today Show on Wednesday, where hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones decided to stir the pot just a little. The topic? Spencer’s eyebrow-raising run for mayor of Los Angeles. And yes, it went exactly how you’d expect.

Lauren wasted no time dodging any hint of support for her longtime reality TV nemesis, coolly responding in this way when asked whether she would vote for him:

“I’m not a resident of Los Angeles.”

Technically true… but also a masterclass in polite avoidance. Classic LC!

But then Kristin jumped in, and let’s just say… she did not get that same memo. Instead of sidestepping, Cavallari leaned all the way in with:

“[Spencer] is on to something. … I will always have a soft spot for Spencer. I think he’s great.”

Cue the record scratch! Cameras caught Lauren visibly stunned, staring across the couch at Kristin like she had just spoken another language. You could practically feel the secondhand discomfort through the screen.

As Jenna tried to regain control and redirect the conversation, Lauren seemed momentarily frozen before realizing she was being addressed. She laughed it off, but admitted she was completely thrown by Kristin’s glowing endorsement. Honestly, same.

When pressed again about whether she and Spencer have finally squashed their infamous feud, Lauren fumbled a bit before giving a response that was about as noncommittal as it gets:

“Sure.”

Uhhh…

And just when you thought she might elaborate, she doubled down with a reminder that said EVERYTHING without, ya know, saying too much:

“You’re asking me about people I haven’t spoken to in decades.”

Oof. That’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of reconciliation!

The hosts quickly picked up on the vibe and wisely moved things along, but not before the moment cemented itself as deliciously awkward daytime TV gold.

Don’t believe us? Watch it unfold for yourself (below):

Awkward!

Old reality TV drama may fade, but clearly, it never fully disappears.

And honestly, would we want it any other way???
