The Grammy winner shared earlier this year how Miles being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes brought all of them closer together.
“His condition is also building grit in him, and as a family,” the Grammy winner told People, “I think it’s building it in us as well because we are all rallying together to support him.”
And with John being just naturally a “very optimistic” and “very practical” guy, he explained, “as soon as I learned that he had this I knew it was going to be life-changing for him and for us, but I’m also like, ‘We can do this.'”
He and Chrissy have proved time and again that they’ve got this, whatever this is.
“We’ve been through all kinds of things together, the highs and the lows,” John told E!, “and as you mature, you grow in yourself.”
