Dove Cameron and Damiano David‘s romance has just soared to new heights.
The Disney Channel star confirmed that she and the frontman of Italian rock band Måneskin are engaged after two years of dating.
“My favourite part of being alive,” Dove captioned her Jan. 3 Instagram post, showing off her new sparkler as the couple looked at each other lovingly. “Happy new year.”
Dove sparked engagement rumors on Oct. 29 by wearing a massive sparkling ring on that finger while walking with Damiano in Sydney, Australia.
Indeed, the pair’s relationship upgrade comes shortly after they celebrated their second anniversary together.
“The 2 best years of my life,” Dove wrote on Instagram Oct. 9 alongside PDA pics. “I am brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it. I love you in a way no words could ever express, but i will never stop trying. buon anniversario amore mio.”
Damiano’s response? Well, he confirmed their romance is the “best part of being alive.”
The pair first met at the 2022 MTV VMAs, where the Descendants star and the Italian rocker’s band were both nominated for Best New Artist.
“You just run into different artists backstage,” Dove, who won the award, told Cosmopolitan in 2024, “and when I met them, I don’t think I even spoke to Damiano.”
