Admittedly, the thought of waiting another three years to check in with HUNTR/X and their rivals the Saja Boys broke us into a million pieces. But it takes time to perfect animation and write Billboard Hot 100 bops like “Soda Pop,” “Your Idol” and “Golden.”
“I feel immense pride as a Korean filmmaker that the audience wants more from this Korean story and our Korean characters,” director Maggie Kang, who will once again claimed a chair alongside partner Chris Appelhans, told Netflix’s Tudum in March. “There’s so much more to this world we have built, and I’m excited to show you. This is only the beginning.”
