We’re right in the middle of summer here in the UK, and whilst I visit the salon year-round for my manicures, pedicures are usually reserved for the warmer weather when I swap out my trainers for sandals and mesh flats. And while I typically opt for classic shades and designs for both my manis and pedis, I’m always up for trying elevated combinations to keep my nails from looking bland. Because of this, I’ve been struggling to decide on how to match up my manicures and pedicures in a way that looks chic and refined without being too boring.
Luckily for me, some of my favourite celebrity nail artists on Instagram have done the work for me, showcasing a number of different manicure and pedicure combinations that perfectly balance elegant sophistication with an elevated twist to keep things fresh for 2025. From classic French tip pairings to bolder hues matched with timeless nudes, below, I’ve rounded up five elevated but elegant mani-pedi combinations to ask for on your next salon visit.
Keep scrolling to see the manicure and pedicure pairings I’ll be opting for this season. Then, take a browse at some of the products you’ll need to recreate the looks at home.
1. Double French Tip
When in doubt, a classic French tip manicure will never fail you. However, recently I’ve also been noticing a number of French pedicures as well. This timeless pairing may seem a little dated to some, but I maintain that it’s an elegant classic that will keep both your fingers and toes looking neat no matter the time of year. This is definitely a combo that I’ll be taking all the way through to autumn as well.

2. Baby Pink + Red
I’ll forever be a neutral manicure type of girl, but that doesn’t mean I can’t experiment on my toes, and I’m loving the unexpected combo of pink and red shown above. Although both classic salon colours, the more romantic tones of the baby pink will offset nicely with the bolder red hue in a way that balances timeless with elevated.

3. Milky White + Black
Black and white doesn’t only look chic when it comes to your outfits. Try opting for a milky white shade on your nails and then contrasting this with a true black for your pedicure. This monochromatic combination will not only look incredibly chic when shown off together, but is also guaranteed to never date, no matter the season or year you wear it.

4. Double Frombré
If French tip nails feel a little too basic for your liking, the Frombré (French-ombre) nail trend is really taking off this season. I first saw this on celebrity manicurist and The Gel Bottle ambassador Harriet Westmoreland’s Instagram page and I’ve been planning it for my next trip to the salon ever since. This softer, less precise take on the French mani-pedi is sure to earn you loads of compliments.

5. Peach + Onyx
When I’m looking for a shade that feels fresh for the summer season, but not too outside of my minimalist comfort zone, I opt for soft peachy tones that can pass as neutral but also provide that slight pop of colour that I opt for in summer. And the best way to contrast this? By opting for a moody Onyx shade on your toes, that will pair well with the pastel peach as well as provide you with a sleek pedicure that you can wear with everything.
