IllFonic’s new Halloween video game has shown off the game’s first map, based on an iconic location found in the Halloween universe.
What is the first map in the Halloween video game?
In a brand new trailer, IllFonic showed off the first in-game map that will be featured in the game. The map, Haddonfield Heights, will bring players into the heart of Haddonfield, the setting for the Halloween movies. The town features a ton of charming homes that will act as a maze for players at night as they try to avoid Michael Myers.
Halloween will release on September 8, 2026, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

According to IllFonic’s announcement for the game, players can take on the role of Myers as he stalks his way through Haddonfield, or play as one of the Haddonfield locals and try and disrupt his plans. IllFonic describes the game as a “1 vs. many experience” that will feature “masterfully recreated locations and ambiance from Halloween.”
“Stick to the shadows as Civilians, seeking out Haddonfield residents to warn them and searching for a way to contact the authorities,” reads the game’s official description. “As Michael Myers, give them a reason to 2fear the dark and cut the phone lines to prevent the police from ruining his favorite holiday. Whether playing solo in story mode, against bots offline, or facing others in online multiplayer, each mode rewards stealth, strategy, and skillful play.”
