High Potential Star Answers if [Spoiler] Is Dead & Roman Will Be Cast in Season 3

Tension is at an all-time high after High Potential wrapped its second season with a brutal cliffhanger. As fans process that shocking ending, Kaitlin Olson is now opening up about what it means for the story ahead.

Kaitlin Olson on if Wagner is dead and Roman will be cast in High Potential Season 3

The fate of Wagner remains the biggest question mark. In the finale of High Potential, he is found badly injured after being stabbed multiple times. Olson didn’t confirm his survival but made it clear that the situation is serious. She noted in an interview with Variety that he “sure got stabbed a lot,” leaving things deliberately uncertain heading into Season 3.

The emotional fallout hits Morgan hard. Olson described how the character feels responsible, believing her search for answers about Roman may have put someone she cares about in danger. During filming, she recalled shouting lines like “Help!” and “Oh my God,” capturing Morgan’s panic as everything spirals out of control.

At the same time, the mystery around Roman is finally moving forward. The finale hints that he may have been tied to the death of an undercover FBI agent, but nothing is fully confirmed yet. Olson stressed that there are still “tons of questions,” and the truth may not be what it seems, especially with unreliable figures involved.

As for whether Roman will appear on screen, Olson didn’t give a direct answer but strongly hinted it’s possible. When asked about casting the role, she said it would be “a pretty smart idea,” suggesting the show may finally bring the character into the present timeline instead of keeping him offscreen.

Beyond the mystery, the show continues to build its character dynamics. Morgan’s bond with Karadec, played by Daniel Sunjata, remains a slow burn. Olson explained that their connection is rooted in trust and emotional safety, which could evolve into romance, but not anytime soon.
