Netflix has shared a new trailer for One Piece Season 2, the upcoming next chapter to the global hit live-action TV adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s iconic manga series. The show is scheduled to make its return on March 10, 2026.
“In Season 2, Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line – a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the new One Piece Season 2 trailer?
The video highlights the introduction of the Baroque Works syndicate, which is an organization of assassins controlled by Mr. 0. They will be the Straw Hat pirates’ first major challenge in the Grand Line. Key members who will be featured in Season 2 are Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday/ Princess Vivi, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, and Sophia Ann Caruso as Miss Goldenweek. The trailer offers a glimpse of each of their devil fruit powers, including Nico Robin’s signature moves. It also teases some of Robin’s interactions with Luffy and the rest of the gang.
One Piece is written and executive-produced by Steven Maeda (The X-Files) and Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), with Owens and Joe Tracz set as the showrunners for the next installment. The show stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. The next installment will also introduce a lot of fan-favorite characters from the manga, including Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rigo Sanchez as Monkey D. Dragon, Joe Manganiello as Crocodile/Mr. 0, and more. Ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere, it has already been renewed for a third installment, with Cobra Kai alum Xolo Maridueña set to take on the key role of Portgas D. Ace.
