Rob Kardashian says he is open to a full-time return to reality TV. After brief appearances this season, the 38-year-old has openly expressed his interest in returning to the show during The Kardashians Season 7 finale.
Rob Kardashian says he ‘would hope to be’ on The Kardashians Season 8
Rob Kardashian stepped away from the family’s reality TV shows in 2016. Since then, he has kept a low public profile. He has made a few rare on-camera appearances in recent years. His possible decision to rejoin the cast would be his first regular turn on the show in nearly a decade.
Rob told Khloé Kardashian during the Season 7 finale of The Kardashians that he “would hope to be on season eight.” He said, “I definitely want to film on season eight.”
Kim Kardashian has made it clear that the family will not push him. “If he’s in the mood and in a good headspace to know that he wants to put himself out there, he’s so down,” Kim told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM. She added that they “want to respect whoever doesn’t want to be on (the show)” and that each sibling may have different goals.
Rob’s recent public moments include appearing in the season seven premiere. He also posted on Instagram for their mother Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday. He wrote, “Happy 70th Birthday Mom!!! @krisjenner,” sharing family photos. Kris replied in the comments, “I love you so much Rob!!!!!”
Rob Kardashian’s return would likely be cautious and based on his comfort. Family members have said they will support him but will not force him into the spotlight. For viewers, Rob’s fuller participation would mean more family scenes and new storylines that center on his life now. This will include fatherhood and his business work.
Rob shares a daughter named Dream Kardashian with his ex, Blac Chyna, whom he has custody over. The kid is often seen with the other children of the family and in snaps of Khloé that she posts on her social media.
