In her conversation with Interview Magazine, Sarah Michelle Gellar poked fun at Freddie Prinze Jr.
Gellar’s Ready or Not 2: Here I Come costar Samara Weaving accompanied her in this interview. The Scream 2 star said, “I have a new computer, and I totally can’t figure out how it works.”
Weaving replied, “I’m allergic to technology, I think.” Gellar shared that she calls Prinze “a Luddite.” She added that the I Know What You Did Last Summer star “hates” when she says that, “but it’s actually the definition.” The mother of two continued, “If he comes near my stuff, it breaks.” Luddite is used to refer to a person who is opposed to new technologies or technological development.
Thus, Weaving joked, “I’m the Luddite.” Moreover, in her latest cover story with PEOPLE, Gellar shared a marriage trick that avoids petty fights with Prinze. She shared that “one bedroom, two bathrooms” helps avoid “a lot of petty fighting.” The award-winning actor further added, “You don’t have to be so fancy that there’s two bathrooms in your bedroom! There just has to be another bathroom available.”
Gellar also mentioned that the couple enjoys leading “a quieter life and a private life.” She continued, “We’re allowed to live in that. And our fans have been so respectful of that.” She further explained, “I always say I’m two people: I’m Sarah Michelle Gellar and I’m Sarah Prinze. They’re different people.”
For the unversed, the power couple first met on the sets of I Know What You Did Last Summer. However, they began a romantic relationship in 2000. The pair got engaged in April 2001 and tied the knot on September 1, 2002. On September 19, 2009, they had their first child, a daughter named Charlotte Grace. In 2012, they had their second baby and first son, Rocky James Prinze.
