Splitsville (2025) Movie Review

Splitsville movie poster

In Splitsville, Dakota Johnson looks absolutely hot as hell, Adria Arjona is right there with her, and the movie also stars Kyle Marvin and Michael Angelo Covino. Kudos to Covino, who directed the movie, and Marvin, who co-wrote the movie with him, for batting out of their leagues in this comedy-drama about open relationships, sex, and complicated love lives. The entanglements don’t make a whole lot of sense and the third act especially starts to get tiresome, but mostly Splitsville is an easy, entertaining watch that offers more than a few hilarious moments–a highly choreographed and out-of-the-blue fight scene is amusingly ridiculous–and some sexy ones, too.

Splitsville won’t win any awards, but for those looking for a rom-com that doesn’t really feel like your ordinary rom-com, it fits the bill.
