After a hilarious episode with Connor Storrie last week, Saturday Night Live is returns for another week with Project Hail Mary-star Ryan Gosling as host. The actor is set as host for the fourth time on Saturday, Mar. 7. In addition, the sketch comedy show has musical guest Gorillaz on the books. SNL broadcasts live on NBC with a start time of 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Ryan Gosling hosts SNL to promote his new movie Project Hail Mary, which is due in theaters nationwide on Friday, Mar. 20. Contrary to popular belief, this is the fourth time Gosling as hosted SNL and not his fifth (no Five-Timers Club this season). During his past appearances, he delivered memorable moments, like Close Encounters, Avatar Papyrus, Beavis and Butt-Head and others.
Meanwhile, Grammy Award-winning English art rock band Gorillaz (with Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett) perform as musical guest. The band is coming off a new album The Mountain, which was released in late February, while Gorillaz sets off on a world tour starting on Friday, Mar. 13 at Bradford Live in Bradford, England. In fact, the band is scheduled for a U.S. tour starting at Kia Center in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, Sept. 17.
