The Madison has a release schedule that differs from Taylor Sheridan‘s other Paramount+ exclusive shows. The family drama, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, premieres in March 2026 in two parts. Here, we’re breaking down The Madison‘s release schedule and everything else you need to know about the series, which has already filmed its second season.
The Madison is “a profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation,” Paramount+ describes. The series stars Pfeiffer, Russell, Matthew Fox, Patrick J. Adams, and more in what the streamer is calling Sheridan’s “most intimate work to date.” It’s set in Montana and Manhattan.
“The Madison is Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, unfolding across two distinct worlds — the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan — as it examines the ties that bind families together,” the streamer continues.
It’s a six-episode first season centering the Clyburn family. The show is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.
When does The Madison premiere?
The Madison is premiering on two Saturdays in March. Part 1 has the first three episodes and will come out on Saturday, March 14, exclusively on the Paramount+ streaming service. Part 2 has the last three episodes and will come out on Saturday, March 21, only on the streamer.
Is there a trailer for The Madison?
The first teaser for Taylor Sheridan’s The Madison hinted at a traumatic family loss, seemingly the death of Russell’s character, Preston Clyburn, that transforms the lives of the widowed Stacy Clyburn (Pfeiffer) and her family. The first official trailer for the new series drives that plot home even more, while still leaving the specific details of the Clyburn family tragedy up in the air.
“My center, my soul is gone,” Pfeiffer says in the first teaser after she’s shown crying in a hospital. Will Arnett‘s character, Dr. Phill Yorn, says, “You will heal if you let yourself.”
In the new trailer (above), Pfeiffer says that her family wasn’t built to withstand “tragedy,” but Arnett’s therapist character tells Stacy that her life will have as much love as she lets in. The rest of the trailer shows Stacy and her family trying to heal in various moments of connection, both lighthearted and serious.
Who is in The Madison cast?
In addition to Pfeiffer, Russell, and Adams, the series stars Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, and Danielle Vasinova.
The Madison is executive produced by the team behind the Yellowstone franchise, Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox, in addition to Pfeiffer and Russell.
