Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Ending: Why does Sifra malfunction?
In Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Sifra is programmed to understand Aryan’s emotions and act accordingly. Since she learns on the go, her system records every decision and deletes those files from her memory when they are useless. Some of these deleted files include calling the police to report a tomato theft, setting the city on fire, slapping people who force their beliefs, and throwing bad men from buildings. Her system understands why such activities are bad.
However, while charging her batteries from the electric port in her room at the wedding venue, the port short-circuits, causing Sifra to malfunction. She ends up leaving the house to perform all the canceled tasks. Due to her malfunction, she ends up filing a police complaint for a stolen tomato, pushing off the neighbor from the rooftop, and dancing to a sensual song in front of the entire family. These tasks were given to her as a joke earlier in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
What happens to Sifra after the incident?
As Sifra can no longer be controlled, Aryan fails to stop her, and she proceeds to complete the last canceled task. She attempts to burn Delhi to the ground, and Aryan tries to power her off but fails to do so. Sifra starts by setting fire to the wedding venue and pushes Aryan’s grandfather aside while exiting the venue. Aryan steps in before she can go any further and punches her to turn her off, stopping her from causing any more chaos.
The story then moves on to six months after the incident of Sifra’s malfunction. Aunt Urmila is seen releasing an upgraded version of Sifra along with other robots. At the launch event, Aryan meets a woman named Riya and talks to her. He is surprised to see how Riya’s views on romance match with his. So, he agrees to go out on a date with her, although he is still trying to get over Sifra.
However, his friend points out that Sifra is jealous of his interaction with Riya despite being a robot. He tells them that it is impossible, as Aunt Urmila has erased every memory of him from Sifra’s system. The movie ends with Aryan looking at Sifra as she looks back at him and smiles.
