Prepare to be shaken and stirred by Brian Cox‘s intimidating presence in Prime Video‘s upcoming James Bond-themed competition show.
Described as an adventure game show, 007: Road to a Million will follow nine pairs of contestants as they embark on an epic global adventure, attempting a series of Bond-inspired challenges in an effort to win the £1,000,000 grand prize.
Succession vet Cox serves as The Controller, the on-screen mastermind behind the game who dictates where the pairs go, what they must do and monitors each pair’s quest. The Controller has also hidden 10 questions around the world for each pair of contestants; the duos must face physical and mental challenges to reach the questions, which are worth increasing amounts of money. If the pairs answer correctly, they bank the cash and move on. If they answer incorrectly, they’re eliminated from the game.
“I’ve put real people into a James Bond adventure,” Cox says in the teaser trailer above, released Thursday in honor of James Bond Day. “The only thing standing in their way… is me.”
