Danny Masterson is an American actor who is best known for portraying Steven Hyde in That ’70s Show. However, last year, he received a 30-year to life in prison sentence raping two women. According to AP News, the 47-year-old Masterson sat in a suit during his hearing. Furthermore, while the victims gave their statements, he did not display any visible reactions. One of the women said, “When you raped me, you stole from me. That’s what rape is, a theft of the spirit.”

She further stated, “You are pathetic, disturbed, and completely violent. The world is better off with you in prison.”

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo said to Danny Masterson, “I know that you’re sitting here steadfast in your claims of innocence, and thus no doubt feeling victimized by a justice system that has failed you. But Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here. Your actions 20 years ago took away another person’s voice, and choice. One way or another you will have to come to terms with your prior actions, and their consequences.”

According to People Magazine, Danny Masterson was recently transferred to California State Prison-Corcoran. Furthermore, his official inmate number is BW7253. Reports suggest that he will be eligible for parole in June 2042.
