Live Review: Ricky Rebel: Club Fire, London: 12/16/17

Parading through a cascade of effervescent, twinkling illuminations marking a Winter Wonderland festival, followed by a path of dimly lit sparkling tunnels, and then suddenly thrust into a world of high energy glitter and music, LA recording artist Ricky Rebel prepared to unleash his song upon the unsuspecting UK crowd.

The gig was a record release benefit party introducing the latest song by popular British and internationally known DJ Jason Prince. The famous Club Fire was packed with high profile celebrities including: Philip Salon, mentor of Boy George, Miss Marilyn and others from the romantic rock era, World 5 frontman Sam Stevens, and other well known British performers.

Ricky Rebel rocked the stage dressed in impressive Glam, leading off with his top 40 US Billboard hit, “If You Were My Baby”, from his newly released album, “Alpha”. Turning The London audience upside down with smash hit, “Sometimes Girls”, the congregation clustered to grab a quick dance with the Rebel Prince as he flashed about the stage. When the performance had ended the crowd bombarded the artist with congratulatory remarks, hugs, photographs, and a wish for an encore.

Ricky is no stranger to the spot light having been the front man for the boy band, “No Authority”, touring with Britney Spears, dancing with Michael Jackson, and being on Madonna’s record label. Now more than ever Ricky has created a massive buzz and demand in the US, and will be doing so going forward in the U.K. The recording pop star will be spreading his New “Alpha” electricity at Mau Mau in Nottinghill London tonight and tomorrow at “Hope and Anchor” in Islington, North London….catch him while you can!
